Here is the world famous ¨Café del Mar ¨. We find two areas, the town centre and Sant Antonio Bay. Both provide all kinds of accommodation, from family run Hostals ( most of them renovated with A.C ) up to 4 stars Hotels. A few kilometres away we will also find many fantastic beaches with clear turquoise waters that are, if possible, even more beautiful than the ones on the Island´s north. To reach these beatiful beaches you pass through roads surrounded by Pine trees, carobs and Fig trees that will delight visitors with a marvellous rural view.

Cala Salada, Cala D´hort, Cala Carbó, Cala Bassa or Cala Conta are some examples of the beautiful beaches in this area. Some bigger but not less beautiful beaches that have accommodation resorts are also very popular with family tourism, such as Cala Gració, Port des Torrent, Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella. Futher into the countryside, you will find the most typical and lovely town of San José.
